City Centre - 3 Bedroom Penthouse with parking

The value for money is poor, and I would not recommend staying here with a child. Positive: Excellent location on a very quiet street near city center. Negative: Check-in instructions were sent only two hours before arrival while we were already on our way. The address was incomplete (missing the house number), which made the property difficult to find. The apartment was very dirty: floors were not properly cleaned, there were many stains on the carpet, and there was mould in the shower. The washing machine was hidden in a cluttered storage area and was very hard to access. The doors were difficult to open as they were stuck in the carpet — even for adults, and impossible for a child to use. As the flat is on the upper floor, the tilted windows limited natural light, and the bathroom lighting was very poor.

A lovely comfortable stay in York. Positive: Great location and comfortable stay. Tea, coffee items were a lovely extra. Negative: It took a while to figure out the one way system to access the car park. I didn’t appreciate the very early text from the host to tell me that it would result in a fine if we drove off with the parking permit.

Other than a initial hiccup, it was a great apartment to stay in and was immaculate Negative: The door wouldn't accept the code so took a little while to get this rectified
